Gateway Gastroenterology is Hiring a NURSE PRACTITIONER Near Chesterfield, MO
Gateway Gastroenterology has a new opening for a full-time nurse practitioner to provide patient-centered, high-value care in our office. Our current nurse practitioners work Monday-Friday only with no after hours call or weekend call. They have access to a gastroenterologist who is onsite so that there is plenty of support for our patients. Gastroenterology is a growing field and our NP's increase patient access, improve patient outcomes, and lower overall costs. As part of our employment package, we offer health benefits, retirement benefits, along with paid vacations and holiday pay. Responsibilities include: Maintain confidentiality of all patient records. Follow all federal, state, and nursing standards/regulations. Advise patients regarding prescriptions and treatment plans. Order and interpret tests, including x-rays, bloodwork, GI Diagnostic test results, and scans. Review and analyze past medical records and reports. Proficient in using EHR software. Work well with a team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and gastroenterologists. Answer patient inquiries and make follow up calls as needed.
